Charles Regan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Charles Regan (May 11, 1842 — May 17, 1921) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who played for Derbyshire in 1877. Regan was born in Barnsley and died in Southend-on-Sea.
Regan, who had only made his debut in May 1877, notched up five first-class appearances for Derbyshire, including four County matches, taking to bat in the upper-middle order throughout his short spell at the club. However, without even managing to complete a single month in the team, Regan was out of the team, having not found a definitive role to play amongst specialist batsman and a solid, consistent bowling attack.
