Charles Mosley was Editor-in-Chief of Burke's Peerage & Baronetage (106th edition) and of the re-titled 107th edition, Burke's Peerage, Baronetage & Knightage [1]. He was born in London, England, and was educated at King's College, Cambridge and at Eton College. He also served in the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office. He has lived in Italy, Ireland, and France. For a time, he was also editor of Debrett's Peerage, and served on the editorial staff of Encyclopaedia Britannica. He has become known as an international expert in genealogy and royal families, and he was the author of a special jubilee volume on the British Monarchy, Blood Royal - From the time of Alexander the Great to Queen Elizabeth II, published in 2002. He is the author of several books and has also contributed articles to various periodicals and newspapers such as The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, and The Times. Charles Mosley frequently appears in Sky One's 'So You Think You're Royal??', a genealogical tracking/tracing programme in his professional capacity as a genealogist.
