From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Charles Lowe (June 23, 1890 — May 11, 1953) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He was born in Whitwell and died in Worksop.
Lowe made his debut in 1909 against a team of touring Australians, while he did not make his first County Championship appearance until the following year, against Leicestershire.
Lowe made two further appearances for Derbyshire during the 1910 season, in which the team finished second-bottom in the table, above only Somerset. Lowe took a year out from playing cricket and made his final appearance at the start of the 1912 season, though the match finished up a draw and no play was available on the final day.
