Charles J. Joachain

Charles J. Joachain obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the Free University of Brussels (now split into the Universite Libre de Bruxelles and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel) in 1963. He did post-doctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley and at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory. He has been professor of physics at the Free University of Brussels since 1965. He is the author of many publications in the fields of atomic, nuclear and high-energy physics. Fellow of the Institute of Physics and of the American Physical Society.
His book Quantum collision theory (North-Holland Publishing, 1975, ISBN 0-444-86773-2 - Elsevier) is authoritative in the field of scattering theory.
