Charles Howard, 9th Earl of Suffolk (1685 – September 28, 1733), was an English nobleman, the husband of the more famous Henrietta Howard.
Charles was a younger son of Henry Howard, 5th Earl of Suffolk, and succeeded his two elder brothers to the earldom. On March 2, 1706, he married Henrietta, who was the daughter of Sir Henry Hobart and had been placed with the Suffolk family on her father's death. They had one son, Henry, who succeeded his father to the earldom, but the marriage was an unhappy one, and was not helped by Henrietta's affair with the future King George II, whose Groom of the Bedchamber Charles was.
