Charles H Mills

Charles Houghton Mills (1843 - 1923) was a Member of Parliament for Waimea and Wairau, in the South Island of New Zealand.

Charles Mills represented the Waimea (1890-6) and Wairau (1896-1908) electorates in the New Zealand House of Representatives. He was Minister of Customs between 1900 and 1906 (Wilson, p.220).

Born in Nelson, New Zealand, Mills was a commission agent (Hamer, p.365). He was a member of the Provincial Council, Marlborough County Council, and the Legislative Council between 1909 and 1916 (Wilson, p.159).
