Charles Godfrey (born November 15, 1985 in Baytown, Texas) is an American football free safety for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes. At Iowa, Godfrey recorded 193 tackles and seven interceptions in his career. In his junior season, he recorded 83 tackles and two interceptions. As a senior, he recorded 65 tackles and five interceptions.
