Charles F. Mitchell

Charles F. Mitchell (unknown date of birth) is a U.S. Representative from New York.

Born in New York City about 1808, Mitchell attended the public schools. He moved to Lockport, New York, in 1829. He was appointed one of the firemen of the village May 21, 1829. He engaged in the milling business in 1835.

Mitchell was elected as a Whig to the Twenty-fifth and Twenty-sixth Congresses (March 4, 1837-March 3, 1841). He engaged in milling in the West. Death date unknown..
