Charles Edward Curzon

Charles Edward Curzon was the 6th Anglican Bishop of Stepney from 1928[1] until 1936 when he was appointed Bishop of Exeter[2]. He was born in 1878[3] and educated at Lancaster Royal Grammar School and Christ's College, Cambridge before embarking on an ecclesiastical career with a Curacy at West Kensington. Incumbencies at Sheffield[4] and Goole followed before elevation to the Suffragan Bishopric of Bishop of Stepney in 1928, a post he held until promotion to the Exeter See. He died in 1954.
