Charles Doty

Charles R. Doty (b. 1923/1924 - d. 2003), of Oklahoma, ran for president of the United States in every election from 1984 to 2000.[1] He was a Democrat, and had work experience that included jobs as a pastor (for the Universal Church of God, from 1990 to 2000[2]) and as a dog breeder. His qualifications for the position included positions as a precinct inspector and county chairman. He was not known to have announced a political platform.[3]

Doty served in the United States Navy during the Second World War.[4]
