Charles Crane

Charles Crane, formally Charles Spencer Crane, was Mayor of Honolulu from July 15, 1938 to Jan. 2, 1941. Crane was born in Honolulu on Jan. 4, 1869 and died on Maui Sept. 13, 1958. He was appointed mayor upon the death of George Fred Wright. Crane is memorialzed in Honolulu by Crane Park in the Kapahulu section of Honolulu.
