Charles Christopher Fowkes

Charles Christopher Fowkes (born 1894; died 1966) was an officer in the British Army during World War II. His nickname was "Fluffy."
Brigadier Fowkes participated in the East African Campaign. He commanded several East African brigades and ultimately commanded both of the East African divisions.
Fowkes was promoted to Major-General in 1941.
