Charles Boyle, 10th Earl of Cork

Charles Spencer Canning Boyle, 10th Earl of Cork and Orrery (November 24, 1861 - March 25, 1925), was Deputy Lieutenant of Somerset, and Grand Master of the Freemasons of Somerset from 1891.
Charles Boyle, as Viscount Dungarven, was appointed Lieutenant-Colonel of the North Somerset Imperial Yeomanry in 1893, and served in the South African War, 1900 - 1902, following which he was promoted to the army rank of Major.
He succeeded to the Earldom upon the death of his father, Richard Boyle, 9th Earl of Cork on June 22, 1904.
Lord Cork married, November 21, 1918, Mrs Rosalie Gray (d. March 15, 1930), daughter of William Waterman de Villiers, of Romsey, Hampshire, but had no issue. The Earldom passed to his brother, the 11th Earl.
