Charles Backford

Charles Backford (b. 1974) is a Zimbabwean sculptor.
A native of Harare, where he was educated, Backford began his career working with Tapfuma Gutsa at his studio; he has also worked with artists such as Eddie Masaya, Garrison Machinjili, Dominic Benhura, and Gerald Takawira. His work is in collections worldwide.
