Charfasson is located at 22.1847° N 90.7625° E . It has 63740 units of house hold and total area 1106.31 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Charfashion has a population of 342038. Males constitute are 51.49% of the population, and females 48.51%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 148319. Charfashion has an average literacy rate of 25.5% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
