Chaparral High School is a public high school in Las Vegas, Nevada of the Clark County School District. It is located in the east side of the town. The school was established in the Fall of 1973. Its mascot is the Cowboy and its school colors are orange and black. The school fight song is the theme from the classic Western The Magnificent Seven composed by Elmer Bernstein.

The recent graduating class of 2006 played against Valley High School in a unique 31-year reunion homecoming football game; Valley High School was the primary source of students in Chaparral's first graduating class (1975). The Student Body Officers are as follows: Kaitlin Reaves (President), Darryllyn Thomas (1st Vice President),Karmel Kwan (2nd Vice President), Alana Werner (Secretary), Desirée Seeley (Treasurer), Nicole Saggio (Historian). The Student Body President for the following year is Nicole Lomeli.
