Chantel Jean Kohl (born 25 November 1989) is an American teenage singer from Omaha, Nebraska who was a contestant on the short-lived American Idol spinoff American Juniors. Kohl was 13 at the time 3rd oldest among the Junior members. Songs she performed on the show include "Open Arms", "You Make Me So Very Happy", "Stony End", "Brass in Pocket", "Don't Make Me Over", and "Sundown." She is currently a high school student in Omaha, NE, and excels in math, science and psychology. She'd like to pursue a career in music after college. She hopes to attend Yale University.
