[edit] America's Next Top Model
Jones was perhaps most known for her bubbly personality and "all-American" looks. As the show progressed, Tyra Banks commented that Jones resembles Cheryl Tiegs--one of the first American modern supermodels. Her photographs were generally praised by the judges, and she appeared in the bottom two only once during the competition. Chantal earned a spot among the final two models along with fellow contestant Saleisha Stowers. During the final runway challenge in Beijing, China, she faced difficulty when a performer on stilts tripped on the train of her dress, which caused her to temporarily lose her composure. At the final deliberation, the judges noted Jones' high-fashion appeal, but were also impressed by Stowers' command of the final runway and her fluidity. Jones was the eventual runner-up to Stowers.
[edit] Post-show career
Jones is now signed with Nous Model Management and the runway division of L.A. Models. Her runway credits include walking in runway shows in Austin, Texas, and for Oscar De La Renta in an Oscar Fashion Preview, for Whitley Kros, Jenny Han, and Falguni & Shane Peacock in L.A. Fashion Week[1] in the 2008 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. She has also participated in Lauren Conrad's debut collection fashion show[2] and the Pussycat Dolls by Robin Antin fashion show[3] during L.A. Fashion Week. Recently, Jones has been spotted modeling for Clandestine Industries Clothing in a Nordstorm mall, a line created by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. She was in the April 2008 issue of BL!SS and 7x7 magazine [4]
