James Channon Roe (born October 27, 1969) is a American actor.

Roe was born in Pasadena, California, but raised in Corona del Mar before training as an actor at the Joanne Baron D.W. Brown Studio and then at the British Academy of Dramatic Arts at Stanford.

Roe began his film and television career in the mid-1990s. He first appeared on TV series' My So-Called Life as Billy in 1994. Roe began his acting career in independent films including "The Low Life" and "Junked."

Roe was born in Pasadena, California, but raised in Corona del Mar before training as an actor at the Joanne Baron D.W. Brown Studio and then at the British Academy of Dramatic Arts at Stanford.

Channon Roe is an avid surfer, his passion for the ocean has influenced him to become highly involved with activist groups Green Peace, Heal the Bay and Surfrider Foundation. Roe has surfed many world renounded locations and continues to incorporate his love of the sport into travel, lifestyle and work. Channon has been a vegetarian for over 20 years, he is actively working towards environmental awareness and his commmitment to the fight against global warming as him driving a Mercedes 1983 Vegetable Oil Conversion by Love Craft.

Channon Roe began his film and television career in the mid-1990s. He first appeared on TV series My So-Called Life as Billy in 1994 and his acting career in independent films including "The Low Life" and "Junked."

In 1996 Roe landed his breakout performance as the leas character Cash in the hit cult television series Kindred: The Embraced. Bio-Dome and Soldier Boys soon followed as Roe's film career took off with stand out performances in Person's Unknown, alongside Naomi Watts, Kelly Lynch, Joe Mantegna and Directed by George Hickenlooper and Academy Award Nominated Boogie Nights starring, Academy Award Winners:Mark Wahleberg, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.

Channon Roe has appeared in over 35 television series to date, some of his most recognized recurring performances are in David Milch'sDeadwood as Slippery Dan, Dirt starring Courteney Cox as JeffStagliano, the Indi Director who impregnates a very disturbed Shannyn Sossamon and Windfall as Jeremy. Roe has also appeared on the hit series, The OC, 24, Prison Break, Bones, CSI:Miami, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, X Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Going to California, Without a Trace, NYPD Blue, Diagnosis Murder, Touched by an Angel, The Pretender, Fugitive, Spawn and HeadCase.

Roe's film career has seen his performances range from teen-heart throb Kevin in Girl starring alongside Hollywood's Hot List of successful Actors; Selma Blair, Portia De Rossi, Summer Phoenix, Dominique Swain and Sean Patrick Flannery. Can't Hardly Wait another teen movie saw Channon starring with Jennifer Love Hewitt, Seth Green, Lauren Ambrose and Charlie Korsmo.

In 2005 Roe's comic timing was in full swing with a cameo appearance in Judd Apatow brilliant film, The 40 Year Old Virgin.

2008 Roe has recently completed filming on two new projects, Under a pilot for A&E Television alongside Henry Thomas and Behind Enemy Lines III: Ghost Watch as Petty Officer 1st Class Kevin Derricks for Fox.
