"Channel Z" is a single by The B-52's from their 1989 album Cosmic Thing. The song was about a fictional radio station whose motto was "Channel Z: All static, all day, Forever!". The song placed number 61 on the main UK chart. It did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100, but it did top the US Modern Rock Tracks chart. Although it topped the Modern Rock chart, it was less successful than their next single, "Love Shack", which topped the Modern Rock Tracks and the ARIA Charts.
