Channel 7 reaches 140,000 homes in North and North East Lincolnshire on Virgin Media's digital television network channel 879.[1]
The channel has recently become available worldwide via their live streaming media facility on their web site.
Channel 7 is licenced with Ofcom as an educational service.[2]

Channel 7 was originally set up in Immingham's Immage 2000 Studios (now simply 'Immage Studios') in 1996 by John Trevitt for the local community to showcase their talent and for information about local area and its events. The studios were officially opened in 1997 by Lord Puttnam[3].
Channel 7 officially launched in January 1998.
Channel 7's flagship show Lincolnshire Living, showcasing events and points of interest about the people and communities within the North and North East Lincolnshire area, is produced monthly, with popular features such as 'A day in the life of...' as well as championing local heroes.
