Chanker Van Livegood (born July 6, 1987) is a fictional Australian rules football player with the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League, portrayed by Kosta. He is the son of Pierre and Vendela Van Livegood. His nickname is VL

Last pick in the 2005 National Draft, Van Livegood's progress has been hampered by weight issues, lack of speed and skills that require considerable work. Wearing number 60, he has yet to make his AFL debut.

At the end of the 2006 season, Van Livegood quit the club, after being caught with a teammate's girlfriend.

Ever since, Van Livegood has been seeking professional help, and received help from his best mate Paul. Paul has made Van Livegood a more mature, smart footballer and is teaching him all the football knowledge and skills to make an elite Australian Rules footballer. So far Paul has taught Van Livegood how to barrel a 70m torp.

Needing further assistance, legendary fitness and goal kicking coach Yasin was brought in by request by Paul. Working closely, the two specialist coaches improved Van Livegood's fitness, goal kicking, speed and skill's significantly. In the process Van Livegood lost 10kg bringing his weight down to an athletic 89kg.

During the 2006 National Draft, Van Livegood was chosen by Hawthorn with their last pick for the second time. Press statement:-

"We can see Chanker playing as a medium forward in the Gary Ablett Snr mold" - Coach of the Hawthorn Football Club.

As of round 18 in the VFL, Van Livegood has booted 63 goals in 18 games. The football community have praised Van Livegood for his astonishing year.

Out of football Van Livegood runs his family's fish and chips shop. He is currently dating Mandie. Other than running his family's shop, he also does some modelling.
