Changi Exhibition Centre

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC) is a convention center in Singapore located just beyond the northern edge perimeter fencing of Singapore Changi Airport, and had served as the venue for the Asian Aerospace since its completion in 1988 until 2006 when it was managed by Reed Exhibitions. It currently offers over 23,000 square metres of space, as well as 14,000 square metres of outdoor space for exhibitions and functions.

[edit] Note

  1. The Changi Exhibition Centre is not to be confused with the new site of Singapore Airshow and its New Changi Exhibition Centre, which are located on a plot of land just beyond the northern edge perimeter fencing of the new Changi Air Base (East), which is itself located 2 Kilometers east of Singapore Changi Airport.
  2. The status of the current facility is still pending as there are considerations for Singapore Changi Airport to expand and subsume the site into a new facility or other purposes related to it.
