Chang Wanquan

Chang Wanquan (Chinese: 常万全; January 1949 - ) is a general in the People's Liberation Army of China. He is the current director of PLA General Armaments Department and a member of Central Military Commission of Communist Party of China.

Born in Nanyang, Henan Province, Chang joined PLA in March 1968, and CPC in November of the same year.

From January 2002 to December 2004, he was the chief of staff and CPC committee member of PLA Lanzhou Military Region. From December 2004 to September 2007, he was the commander of PLA Shenyang Military Region. Since September 2007, he has been serving the director of PLA General Armaments Department. In October 2007, he was elected as a member of Central Military Commission of CPC.

He was made major general in July 1997, lieutenant general in 2003, and general in October 2007.

He is a member of 16th and 17th Central Committees of Communist Party of China.
