Chanel No. 19

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Chanel No. 19 perfume was first marketed in 1970. The number 19 was chosen to commemorate Coco Chanel's birthday.

The scent was created by Heidi Morawetz and the Chanel cosmetics laboratory.[1]

No. 19 has a fresher, lighter, greener scent to it than Chanel No. 5. It has a very slight greenish tint visible when bottled to match its smell.

In Lisi Harrison's book series The Clique they made a reference to the main character Massie Block wearing Chanel No.19.
