Chandrabindoo (band)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chandrabindoo (Bengali: চন্দ্রবিন্দু Chôndrobindu) (often spelled Chandrabindu), based in Kolkata, is a bangla band. Their name refers both to the last character in the Bengali alphabet and to a dialogue (very famous among Bengalis) from the nonsense work HaJaBaRaLa by Sukumar Ray.
The band is known for Chandril's satirical, colloquial lyrics, full of references to current affairs and cultural phenomena. They also sing other types of song, written by Anindyo.
