Chandpur is a census town under Ghola police station of Barrackpore subdivision [1] in North 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India.

Chandpur is located at 22.52° N 88.12° E[2]. It has an average elevation of 6 metres (19 feet).

As of 2001 India census[3], Chandpur had a population of 8843. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Chandpur has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 74% and female literacy of 61%. 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
