Chanda Nagar is a suburb of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It is located close to Lingampally. Chandanagar hosts a variety of shops providing almost all that is needed. It has undergone a drastic change in the recent years. It has its part to play in this. This place is approximately 10km from major IT companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CMC, etc. Most of these employees opt for chandanagar for the all-round facilities provided and the peaceful environment.

There are many shopping malls located in this area. This place has gained a lot of commercial value because of the nearby IT parks.

Chanda nagar has a local train station, hence more and more people are opting to live in this suburb.

The state-owned APSRTC runs the city bus service, connecting to all the major centres of the city. APSRTC connects Chanda Nagar to all parts of the city. It is also serviced by MMTS Train service.

The roads of chandanagar are not good enough to handle the flow of increasing traffic. The roads are narrow and the heavy vehicles add to the already chaotic environment.

It is on Hyderabad- Mumba Highway. Road Widening work is in progress(May 2008)
