Chancy Croft is an attorney and ex-politician from Anchorage, Alaska.
Croft was born in Odessa, Texas and graduated at the University of Texas School of Law. He was a member of the Alaska House of Representatives from 1969 till 1971 and of the Alaska State Senate from 1971 till 1978. He was a member of the University of Alaska Board of Regents from 1995 till 2003, which he chaired from 2001 to 2002. He also is a former Democratic candidate for governor of Alaska.

He is married to Toni Williamson Croft and is the father of one of the 2006 candidates for governor of Alaska, Eric Croft.
