Chancellor High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chancellor High School is a public high school with grades 9 through 12 located in Spotsylvania, Virginia. The school opened in 1988. It is physically connected to Chancellor Middle School. The school mascot is the Chancellor Charger. Its colors are burgundy and gray. There are approximately 1350 students at the school. The school was built in 1988 and still has some of the starter faculty. This school and Riverbend and Courtland High School (the fifth and second high schools built in Spotsylvania County respectively), have been longstanding rivals in athletics.
The school made news in 2004 when a student was found with Tylenol tablets in her bag, and was subsequently suspended for five days.[1]
