Chamseddin is a family name. This family exist in many countries including Lebanon, China, Germany, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and many other. Normally its spelled Shamsuddin, due to French pronunciations its been written as Chamseddin. In Arabic, Chams means SUN and Eddin is Faith/Religion. So ChamsEddin would mean Sun Of Religion
