Awarded during the Italian football's annual Calcio Oscars ceromony in Milan. The prestigious award is based on votes collected from fans and T.V viewers in Italy. Voters are asked to choose from a list of 10 previous winners of the annual best player prize in the Gala. The most recent winner is AC Milan striker Ronaldo.
