Chamois grip

Chamois grip is popularly used by field hockey players to enhance the grip on their hockey stick. Chamois grips are "overgrips" which means they do not have adhesives on them so they are just wrapped around the hockey stick handle.
They are very good at preventing slipping are especially good when wet, this is because it is designed to absorb moisture. International players like to use them when there is bad weather conditions but many players choose to use it as a standard grip.
The most popular manufacturer of chamois grip is Dita [1]. They are the original makers and are the best known for their yellow chamois grip. A newer manufacturer called Malik also make chamois grip.
