Challenge Center Elementary (Sioux Falls, South Dakota)

The Challenge Center is a school for gifted students in the grades 2-5. It is a public school in the Sioux Falls School District in South Dakota. The school is located in Mark Twain Elementary School right now, but that will soon change when they move to Garfield Elementary School this upcoming school year. This aroused a lot of publicity towards the Challenge Center. There are 4 teachers in the program. There's a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher, a 3rd and 4rth grade teacher, a 4rth grade teacher, and a 5th grade teacher. The 5th grade teacher won Teacher of the Year in their school district, and the students have won 2nd place nationally in the Knowledge Master Open, 1st and 2nd place in Math Masters of Minnesota. The average class size is 25, with an overall about 100 students. They share Mark Twain's colors of maroon and gold and mascot of Mark Twain Huskies.
