Mr. Rao is is the Chairman of Naturol Bio-Energy.(first biodiesel Plant in AP). A seasoned entrepreneur with decades of successful entrepreneurship and industrial management and administration capability.
He Co-founded Coastal Papers Limited in 1974, the first successful agro based small paper mill in India. Under his leadership(Managing Director), the 10 TPD mill has successfully expanded the capacity to 200 TPD by FY 2000.
As President of All India Agro Paper Mills Association, Mr Rao has successfully negotiated with Finance Ministry for dual slab excise duty structure for agro paper mills.
His education qualification is BA, DLW from University of Bombay, India.
Coastal Papers Ltd was Promoted in co-operation with APIDC(AndhraPradesh Industrial Development Corporation)
Coastal Papers was regarded as a benchmark for harmonious industrial relations and excellent co-ordination with financial institutions and governmental agencies.
