Chaksu is a city and a municipality in Jaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.

As of the 2001 India census,[1] Chaksu had a population of 29,111. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Chaksu has an average literacy rate of 53%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 67% and female literacy of 38%. 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
