Chakeri is a census town in Kanpur Nagar district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Chakeri had a population of 8580. Males constitute 55% of the population and females 45%. Chakeri has an average literacy rate of 84%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 85% and female literacy of 82%. 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Chakeri is also the location of Kanpur Airport.
