Chak Bansberia is a census town in Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal, India. It is under Mogra police station in Chinsurah Subdivision.[1]

As of 2001 India census,[2] Chak Bansberia had a population of 7336. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Chak Bansberia has an average literacy rate of 49%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 57% and female literacy of 39%. 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
