Chagoda

Chagoda (Russian: Ча́года) is an urban-type settlement in Vologda Oblast, Russia, situated on the Chagodoshcha River (Volga's basin) 326 km from Vologda. Population: 7,432 (2002 Census); 8,171 (1989 Census). Founded in 1918 (according to other sources—in 1926).
