[edit] 'Chaduranga' Subramanya Raje Urs
Subramanya Raje Urs (1916-1998) popularly known as 'Chaduranga' was a very famous Kannada author from Mysore. He wrote four novels Sarvamangala, Uyyale, Vaishakha and Hejjala and few other short stories.
Chaduranga was honoured with the Karnataka State Rajyotsava award, the State Sahitya Academy award, the Central Sahitya Academy award, and a honorary doctorate by the Mysore University in 1993.[1]
