Chad Robert Upshaw (born June 23, 1984 in Southport, Connecticut) is an American football tight end for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Buffalo.
Upshaw has also been a member of the Denver Broncos.

Chad is the son of former Major League Baseball player Willie Upshaw. He is also the nephew of Gene Upshaw - a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and current Executive Director of the NFL Players Association.
