[edit] Trivia

His first official recording with the band was for the full-band version of the song "Rain" from We Are Not Alone in late 2005, which was sent to modern radio, and later appeared on the band's cover of Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever?

Chad is from Elyria, Ohio and his mother was a music teacher at Prospect Elementary School. Szeliga every once in a while comes to his alma mater, Elyria High School, to talk to the Elyria High Marching Band drummers.

Chad was preceded by Jeremy Hummel, but because of a dispute, Jeremy was evicted from the band.

Chad is known to put his bigger rack tom ahead of his smaller rack tom although he is not left-handed.

Before joining Breaking Benjamin, Chad power-washed patios and decks for a living.

Everywhere he tours, Chad buys jewelry for his wife.
