Chad McNamara was born on May 4, 1982 in Ottawa, Ontario and is a Canadian actor best known for portraying Rooney Doodle on the children's show The Doodlebops, and made a short appearance on the show "Queer As Folk."
Although the character Rooney plays the guitar, McNamara does not play the guitar in real life. Chad was recently spotted at Club Bronz in Northside, a subsidiary of Cincinnati, OH, singing away the night, at Wadeyoke, along with co-star Lisa J. Lennox and the rest of the show tour crew.[citation needed]
