07/21/06 - U.S. Army National Guard paratroopers from 2nd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group out of Chicago, Ill., and 116th Air Support Operations Squadron out of Fort Lewis, Wash., board a Canadian CH-146 Griffon helicopter from the 430th Helicopter Squadron out of Quebec City, Quebec, at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, July 21, 2006, during exercise Patriot 2006. Patriot, the largest joint, annual exercise held in the United States, increases the war-fighting capabilities of the U.S. Air Force and Army National Guard, reserve, and active components as well as interoperability with the participating nations of Canada, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
