Chūgoku Expressway

The Chūgoku Expressway (中国自動車道 Chūgoku Jidōsha-dō?) (Asian Highway Network AH 1) is an expressway in Japan from Suita, Osaka to Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi. It connects Kansai and Chūgoku regions in the western Honshū, Japan's largest island. Other major cities on the expressway are Kobe and Hiroshima. It was founded in 1970 and has a total length of 540.3 kilometers.
It is connected with many other expressways including Meishin Expressway at Suita Junction and Kanmon Bridge at Shimonoseki Interchange through to Kyūshū Expressway.
