<Niigata City


Chūō-ku (中央区 Chūō-ku?) of the administrative districts in Niigata Prefecture Niigata City. It is an administrative district that becomes the center of Niigata City, and it is composed of the region in the Sea of Japan Tohoku Expressway north of the Chūō district, the Nuttari district, the Toyano district, the Ymagata district, and the Sonoki district of the old city region of Niigata City.

The city office is whereabouts in Chuo Ward. A lot of public agencies such as where has gones in the country including the organization in the prefecture such as Prefectural governments are whereabouts.

Moreover, both of TV station and radio station (prefecture region) meters seven company bureau in the Niigata prefecture are whereabouts in Chuo Ward.

It is in a center part urban in the old Niigata City region that extends around Niigata Station, and a center downtown of the city such as old towns and thousand generation Shitei is an economic heartland in Chuo Ward of the entire prefecture to say nothing of whereabouts and Niigata City.

As for the district, the downtown is chiefly composed by the following urban areas. The station south is redeveloped in the thousand generation, around the station, development, and 1980's as the old town becomes a downtown when politics is enforced 1889 year-end fairs, and the age advances and the urban area has been expanded.

Furumachi that it is a Niigata city, and is furthermore the downtown of a Niigata maximum prefecture is almost located at the center about the Niigata island where it faces the Sea of Japan on the Chuo Ward north side.
