[edit] February 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Joseph Stalin, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. This is especially important when dealing with biographies of living people, but applies to all Wikipedia articles. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are already familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Thank you. Pumpmeup 05:29, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sleaze Rock

Hi. The article Sleaze rock was deleted because the consensus at a Deletion Debate was that the article did not meet one or more of Wikipedia's policies. In this case, the specific policy was Verifiability, which required reliable sources to determine whether the subject indeed exists as such. If you have independent, reliable sources that could show that Sleaze Rock is indeed a valid and recognized genre of music, then I would recommend that you draft an article in your userspace using those resources, and then propose the recreation of the article at Deletion Review. If enough people agree that you have the proper sourcing, you'll be able to recreate the article. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance.
