[edit] Enlisted history ...
I have moved Enlisted History of the United States Air Force to User:Cfpresley/USAFhist. If you disagree with this move, I think a copy and paste in the other direction would be OK. However:
- the title is very poor: I can understand that an history can be partial or biassed but how does one enlist an history? OK, I know you mean "History of enlisted personnel in the USAF".
- I realise it is not a copyright violation because Uncle Sam wrote it.
- Even though it is not a copyvio, Wikipedia strongly dislikes copied articles. Wikipedia has its own distinct style and layout. Do you see this as an article which Wikipedians would take on and expand?
Well done for stripping it out from the monstrous PDF you got it from but I think this article belongs in Wikisource or Wikibooks. -- RHaworth 16:31:24, 2005-08-13 (UTC)
Response I am not familiar with Wikisource, but I'll look into it. I am in the USAF, and the PDF is our primary source material for promotions testing. I like the history section of it, and I thought that it was more comprehensive that anything Wiki has for the USAF, and since its paid for by the taxpayers, then it is Public Domain. I put the underconstruction tag on it because I am currently working on adapting it to Wikistyle. I'll continue to tweak it on my user page until its less raw. Cfpresley 03:06, 15 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] advice
You need to work on your Wikistyle. Or as I like to call it your WickedWikiStizzyle. After enough time spent editing wiki entries in the comfort of your mothers basement you will develope a sick^^^H sixth sense that will allow you to wikiotize yourself. As I always say to my wikipals "This ain't <sic> your mother's encyclopedia!" No sir, this is the new style wikitopia. I don't think you have enough wikitude to hang here in our online crib. Wikiopedia only likes certain editors like myself. One day I edited 26.2 articles! When I do that I call it a wikiattack. Although after a hard day like that I like to wikilax. [edit] Editors are retarded
Hi; unfortunately the title of the thread you started on Talk:Culturally_significant_phrases_from_The_Simpsons is a violation of WP:CIVIL. Would you consider changing it to something less inflammatory? Sincerely, Anchoress 06:54, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] minor edits
You may want to reread When to mark an edit as minor, as you seem to be mismarking some of your edits. Natalie 01:46, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps I didn't explain myself well enough. You are marking edits as minor that are not, which is why you may want to reread the page above. Natalie 01:48, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:WAAC.png
Thanks for uploading Image:WAAC.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:27, 19 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. |EPO| 15:27, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

I've had that IP for about as long, it seems, as you have had your username. Both have talk pages. Both, evidently, are fairly regularly checked and replied to. Finally, signatures are as much for the easing of parsing as determining the author. "68.39.174.238 20:11, 23 June 2007 (UTC)"
