CFIX is a former radio station licenced to Cornwall, Ontario to serve its francophone community. The station first took to the air on November 11, 1959 as CFML with an effective radiated power of 10 watts. The station is a daytimer, and had established a repeater in Hawkesbury, Ontario as CHPR 1110, which is still on the air to this day on the FM dial. CFML later became CFIX. The station went silent in December of 1983 due to technical and financial problems.
