CFEX-FM is a new modern rock station serving Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In July 2006, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) approved a licence for Harvard Broadcasting to start a new FM station.

X92.9 went on the air January 1, 2007 at midnight with a live to air performance with Hot Hot Heat. The on-air lineup debuted one week later on January 8. The station is also home to a "No Nickelback Guarantee". The station's slogan is "Calgary's New Rock Alternative" The station is the most musically adventurous commercial radio station in Canada.

X92.9 currently features a morning show with humorous conversation, current events coverage, and commentary. The hosts are Fraser Tuff, Roger Kingkade and Candice Knihnitski. "The Show" runs from 6-10AM.

The Rock Report runs 6-7PM weekdays and is hosted by Josh Holliday. The show features music news, interviews, live performances, new music and more.

Xposure is a weekly indie music show which runs Sundays at 6PM, focusing on Canadian independent artists, with an emphasis on the Calgary scene. It's hosted by Malissa Dunphy. She also puts together a local indie feature which runs six times daily.

Project Punk is an hour of punk music hosted by Darren Ollinger on Sunday nights at 7PM.

Loveline is a syndicated program which runs Sundays through Thursdays from 11PM to 1AM. The show is hosted by KROQ's Stryker and Dr. Drew Pinsky, along with celebrity guests from music, television, movies and more. It's an open-line show focused on sex education, with a humorous bent. X92.9 has a streetside studio at the corner of 17th Avenue and 2nd Street in SW Calgary in an area known as The Red Mile. Listeners can watch the DJs and assorted guests through very large windows.
